In 2021, the National Institute of Health and Medical Research (Inserm) entrusted the Insign agency with its strategic communication consulting budget, as well as the creation, design, and execution of its various communication actions.

Today, Insign is launching Inserm's new awareness campaign, a product of this collaboration. Beyond increasing its visibility, this campaign aims to make the Inserm's ongoing commitment to citizens' health more apparent and clearer. The goal is to engage the widest audience in Inserm’s actions, encouraging the public to take a more active interest in science and health.

With the notion that 'you gain every day by taking an interest in health,' the campaign developed by Insign breaks away from the expected academic tone in this type of communication. Through a positive and engaging tone, scientific terminology is playfully simplified to emphasize its relevance to everyday life and to showcase the tangible benefits of Inserm's research, including topics like nutritional profiling algorithms, serine proteases, chondrocytes, the motor cortex, or hypocretin.

Launched today, the campaign will roll out throughout July with 5 different posters displayed in most French train stations and the Paris metro. The communication will also feature on various digital platforms and in various formats.

“In the collective imagination, scientific research often appears complex and inaccessible, sometimes disconnected from our daily lives. Yet, Inserm's contributions have a direct positive impact on our health, and therefore on how we enjoy life and its everyday pleasures. The ‘You gain every day by taking an interest in health’ campaign plays on this in a clever way to better highlight its relevance to every French person.” states Joris Vigouroux, Creative Director at Insign.

“Through messages with a direct tone and everyday visuals that each of us could have photographed, the posters imagined by Insign bring Inserm and the French closer together with simplicity and talent to spark mutual interest. This campaign fits perfectly into our communication strategy, aimed at demonstrating to everyone the value of our research and placing Inserm's science at the heart of everyday life.” declare Carine Delrieu, Communication Director of Inserm, and Priscille Rivière, Deputy Director.
