After three years of partnership, the agency unveils the new identity of inherent, the single brand bringing together adista and all the group's entities. A brand architecture, an identity, and a launch campaign driven by the signature: "We make [iT] work."
It's a rare and powerful move: turning a group built through acquisitions into one single brand. The inherent group, a major player in French digital services, grew through acquisitions, bringing together complementary expertise under multiple brands. The next step was to give this ecosystem a single identity that matched its transformation. Launched in 2023, this transition shifts the group from its historic position as a telecom operator to a multi-specialist digital services provider, with the goal of reaching €500 million in revenue by 2027–2028.
"Our change in scale shouldn't pull us away from the ground. That is the whole point of inherent: a single brand that combines the proximity of a local player, the agility of a mid-sized company, and the deep expertise of a digital specialist. One partner to simplify our clients' access to the best technologies and support them long-term, regardless of their size, industry, or the complexity of their environment," says Pierre-Jean Beylier, President of the inherent group.
Insign, which has been guiding the group through this change management process for three years—from defining its core purpose to adista's first campaign—designed the solution: a monolithic architecture where all separate entities step back in favor of a single, unifying brand: inherent. This was revealed to the 1,600 employees on September 23 in Nancy before its public launch. "Unifying about ten entities under a single brand is as much a management act as it is a communication one. inherent needed a brand that matched the scale of its decision: clear, unifying, and focused on what it makes possible," says Lionel Cuny, President of Insign.

IT is inherent to inherent
The creative challenge was twofold: put a brand on the map that had barely existed until now, and shift corporate branding into a strong tech brand that still feels close to its clients.
The solution was hidden in the name. "inherent" holds great conceptual power: it evokes what is intrinsic, deeply connected, and essential. And it carries its own obvious truth: the "i" and the "T", the first and last letters of the word, spell IT. The logo highlights them, making the concept self-evident: IT is inherent to inherent, just as inherent is inherent to IT. A typographical truth that no one else can claim. "It all started with an obvious detail hidden right there in the name: the 'i' and 'T' of inherent, the first and last letters, form 'IT'. We didn't have to invent anything, just reveal it. It's every designer's dream: a concept that the brand carries within itself, and that it alone can claim," highlights Aurélie Lourdou, Creative Director at Insign.
Behind this wordplay is a fundamental strategic choice: putting IT back where it belongs. Not as a complex topic reserved for experts, but as a performance driver for businesses. The [iT] becomes a monogram used across all brand messaging, right down to its signature, "We make [iT] work", and in its architecture, where key areas of expertise are displayed in brackets: inherent [Business], [Cyber], [Pro], [Partners]. One partner, all the expertise. All powered by an energetic gradient shifting from yellow-green to orange, breaking away from the industry's cold color codes.
A campaign that breathes new life into IT
For its launch, inherent is speaking out with a tone that is rare in B2B IT: direct, relatable, and with a touch of humor. "Yes to the cloud. No to the fog." "You know it's a good network when nobody's talking about it." "Cyberattacks are like mosquitoes: all it takes is one open window." These taglines speak to business leaders and CIOs alike, proving the brand's core belief: IT is a serious topic that can be explained simply. The campaign is rolling out across regional daily newspapers, specialized IT press, and high-impact outdoor advertising. The launch is also supported by a partnership with Louis Bielle-Biarrey, with a promo video produced by Insign.
