White paper

Young people's HR expectations are often treated as a generational issue. However, this Insign white paper supports a simple idea: the real dividing lines are sectoral, not generational.
In other words, rather than contrasting ages, Insign highlights the importance of thinking by sector in order to enhance the employee experience, employer offerings, and its marketing.
What our white paper reveals: when sector trumps age
Based on a study conducted in 2023 with Ipsos, supplemented in 2025 by in-depth individual interviews, our white paper provides concrete benchmarks to understand the HR priorities of young professionals.
You'll find in particular:
5 key insights into young people's HR expectations, enriched with analyses and interview quotes.
The 2026 HR priorities pyramid, inspired by Maslow's pyramid, structured into 6 major dimensions and 37 sub-criteria.
Results illustrating the trade-offs between quality of work life, compensation, management, etc.
A solid methodology (IPSOS study + interviews, over 2 years)
To go beyond conventional wisdom, the study relies on a hybrid approach developed over 2 years:
an IPSOS survey conducted with 1000 young people aged 18 to 30 (end of 2023);
around thirty in-depth individual interviews (August to November 2025) with young professionals from 8 different sectors;
a ranking of expectations based on 6 HR dimensions and 37 sub-criteria.
