↳ Context

Recruitment of sailors takes place on the ground through 250 recruitment advisors spread across the 64 Information and Recruitment Centers of the Armed Forces (CIRFA) located throughout France and in overseas territories. These advisors are the cornerstone of prospecting and supporting candidates through their recruitment process.

↳ Challenge

Optimizing the field performance of the national Navy recruiters amid significant turnover

↳ Strategy

Designing a new training program for recruiters was centered around an innovative flipped pedagogy to boost recruitment performance:

  • Establishing new common standards in business practices

  • Developing a new "blended learning" training program, combining digital and on-the-ground elements:

    • Digitizing core content through 18 thematic online courses (tools, pathways, prospecting techniques, interview techniques, interactions with advisors, language elements, presentation of HR offerings)

    • On-site sessions with practical exercises (prospecting, candidate interviews, handling objections, engaging with advisors, etc.)

Better performance
30,000
connections between candidates and recruiters generated each year
↳ Greater impact

↳ Deployment

  • A new digital and mobile online training tool (Learning Management System) dedicated to the 250 recruiters of the national Navy for theoretical training

  • 18 courses consisting of videos, interactive content, and quizzes to validate acquired knowledge
