It's been over a year since COVID-19 made its way into our lives, completely disrupting our daily routines. Initially perceived as just another Asian epidemic, it quickly morphed into a global pandemic, halting economic activities and overwhelming our healthcare systems.
In March 2020, the Insign teams began closely observing this unprecedented phenomenon and the changes it would bring about, whether through acceleration or breakdowns. Through a few subtle signals, we started to realize that this crisis could be a game-changer. However, we couldn't yet grasp its depth or duration.
In line with these observations, we turned our focus to the healthcare sector, the first to be impacted by the crisis, to try and understand how it would evolve.
How are things looking a year later? This is the question that prompted this white paper, aimed at summarizing our observations and sharing our insights on the upheavals that the crisis has triggered or accelerated.
Through this white paper, we're offering a quick review of a year with COVID-19 and the new health landscape in France, before outlining the transformations occurring within the media and healthcare ecosystems. Lastly, we aim to revisit the four major challenges that healthcare stakeholders are currently facing or will encounter in the coming years:
↳ Review of one year with COVID-19
↳ Overview of a transforming sector
↳ The impacts of COVID-19
↳ What challenges for the sector?
